An A3 linocut print of Julian descending the steps of the fine old mounting block at Godolphin in Cornwall. This was a lovely place to visit, cared for by the National Trust, and one could just imagine generations of horse riders using these well worn steps. Not needed in the days of Ford Fiestas and VW Golfs they’re picturesque in the strong light of a late afternoon in the summer, half overgrown with mosses, lichen, racken and wild flowers and grasses. Cut and printed February 2026.
